Bistro Bar Concept

I’ve been out for such a long time, but developing some projects that I want to share with you guys. The client wanted to remodel his existing bar and add a modern touch at the same time he wanted people to feel a casual environment. When you think of a restaurant/ coffee shop place, there’s an urge to create an image that associates to the main consumption product. A place that sells something or even, invites the clients to come in and try on.

Taking into account those ideas, I propose an industrial style to recreate  an informal environment, and creative furniture to add modern touch to the space. The bar counter was the main place, where action takes part, the cook coming out of the kitchen to prepare the dishes, the waitress prepare the drinks etc. In this way, I have designed the this part with translucent materials and objects such as bottle. Adding a touch of boldness was crucial to recreate a modern and casual style as the client asked.

The bar had two atmospheres, the terrace/ balcony and the interior area. So we decided to recreate on the balcony a lounge area for drinks and chill out through the use of specific furniture. We purposed a pergola for shading giving the possibility if the clients prefer a place less exposed. The bar counter crosses all the space to give service to all areas both exterior and interior. I’ve designed with the purpose to build a link between the two ambiences the client wished to have.
